Mental Canvas VR (Beta)
The Mental Canvas VR Player allows users to experience scenes in virtual reality with compatible headsets. This immersive feature is built on WebXR and in development, with plans to add more functionality and compatibility in the future.
Publishing Your Scene for VR
To create a VR-compatible scene, author your scene as usual and publish it to the web. Then, copy the link to the scene and open it on your headset.
At the bottom of the 2D viewer, you’ll see a VR Icon. Tap it to enter the immersive VR Player.
Compatible Headsets & Browsers
The VR Player leverages WebXR for broad compatibility. However, navigation controls are currently optimized for the Meta Quest series, including the Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest 2. The Meta Quest 3 is recommended for optimal performance, particularly with larger scenes.
