Drawing

Mental Canvas scenes are composed of 2D canvases that you position in 3D space. Canvases are infinite and trasparent, and can hold both hand-drawn strokes and imported images.

Draw Mode

To start drawing, switch to Draw Mode using the Draw/View Toggle in the main toolbar. In Draw Mode, you can sketch freely on the active canvas.

Switching Between Pen and Finger Draw

You can draw using either a stylus or your finger. We strongly recommend using a stylus for drawing, since it provides superior precision, pressure sensitivity, and frees up your other hand to naturally control the 3D camera view.

By default, finger drawing is enabled until a stylus is detected, at which point the feature is automatically disabled. You can re-enable finger drawing anytime through the Settings menu.
